Love Macione is a Senior Business Immigration Attorney at BHLG, offering more than 20 years of experience in immigration law.
Love has extensive experience in successfully assisting multinational and U.S. employers with obtaining nonimmigrant visas and U.S. legal permanent residence on behalf of foreign national employees. She also has assisted investors and entrepreneurs who wish to start businesses in the U.S. She has assisted large volume of clients across diverse industries, including technology, finance, hospitality, construction, engineering, education, and not-for-profits.
Love particularly enjoys succeeding in resolving complex immigration issues, including responding to Requests for Evidence for complicated issues such as H-1B specialty occupation, multinational manager roles, and admissibility issues. She has also successfully resolved cases by seeking relief in the federal district courts.
Love has decades of experience in preparing all types of temporary and short-term work visas (H-1B, H-2, H-3, L-1, O-1, TN, R-1, J-1, E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B1), PERM Labor Certifications, permanent residence petitions and applications (employment-based and family-based), and naturalization. She also has represented hundreds of clients in removal proceedings and before the Board of Immigration Appeals, and Federal Courts of Appeal.
Prior to joining BHLG, Love gained significant experience working at boutique immigration law firms in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Massachusetts, where she handled various employment-based, family-based, removal, appellate, and humanitarian immigration cases.
Love also volunteers extensively with organizations assisting asylum-seekers and individuals seeking humanitarian relief.
