Rachael A. Gallagher is a Senior Immigration Attorney at BHLG, offering more than 10 years of experience in immigration law, with a particular focus in the area of business immigration.

Rachael has successfully assisted multinational and domestic employers with obtaining nonimmigrant visas and U.S. legal permanent residence on behalf of foreign national employees. She has experience servicing a large volume of clients across diverse industries, including technology, engineering, finance, real estate, architecture, medicine, universities, and the arts (artists and performers).

Rachael has extensive experience handling a broad spectrum of business immigration matters, excelling in complex immigration issues, including due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions and other corporate restructurings and addressing Requests for Evidence for complicated issues such as H-1B specialty occupation, existence of employer-employee relationship, and ability to pay.

Rachael has a wealth of experience in preparing all types of temporary and short-term work visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, R-1, J-1, H-3, E-1, E-2, E-3, H-1B1), PERM Labor Certifications, permanent residence petitions and applications (employment-based and family-based), and naturalization.

Prior to joining BHLG, Rachael gained significant experience with both large global corporate immigration firms and boutique immigration law firms in New York City, where she handled various employment-based and family-based immigration cases.
